Counselling Overview
Our specialist service provides support around Relationships and Sex, Sexual Behaviours, Sexual Health, Gender Identity, Sexuality, Sexual Trauma, and HIV.
We provide counselling for children, young people, and adults. Our counsellors use an Integrative Approach. This means that they use different types of counselling depending on your issues so that you get the best possible support.
Our counsellors are qualified to Level 4 or above or working towards this if they are trainees. They are registered with a professional body.
Counselling
for Adults
We provide support around issues such as Relationships & Sex, Sexual Behaviours, Sexual Trauma, Sexual Health, HIV, Gender Identity or Sexuality.
Sessions can be face to face or online; whatever works best for you. Face-to-face sessions are available at different venues across Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
The assessment session is FREE,
There is a small charge for adult counselling of;

£25 per session, for an individual adult

£40 per session, for couples

Counselling for Children & Young People
‘Want to Talk?’ – our counselling project for Children & Young People
We can support children and young people,

aged 9 to 17 (18 if in full time education).and
-
aged 9 to 25 for young people who have a learning disability or autism,
who are feeling anxious and overwhelmed by complicated feelings and unhelpful and confusing patterns of behaviour.
Our counsellors specialize in supporting children and young people who want to talk about issues such as Relationships & Sex, Sexual Behaviors, Sexual Trauma, Sexual Health, Gender Identity or Sexuality. We provide a safe, confidential, and relaxed space where you will feel listened to.
We can see you in your school, college, youth club, or in another safe and confidential venue, such as a community centre. Sessions are usually face to face but depending on your situation we can offer online sessions to young people aged 16+ if there are no safeguarding concerns.
Our counselling is FREE of charge for children and young people in Cambridgeshire and Peterborough.
